Nancy O Dell was named by Shape Magazine as one of the “20 Hottest Stars Right Now.” In addition to her NBC News’s “Dateline” and “Today’s Show”, Nancy is also a co-anchor in “Access Hollywood”, which she has played the part or the pioneer on-air team when the show was launched in 1996. With her achievements in the industry, she earned the title of being one of the most successful entertainment journalists in Hollywood.
Since 2000, Nancy O Dell hosted the national Golden Globe Arrival Specials, as well as covering grand Hollywood events such as The Grammys, The Emmys, The Oscars and The golden Globes, even hosting the backstage part of the Golden Globe telecast. In 1999, she hosted the pre-show of the Emmys for Fox Channel, NBC and ABC, as well as the pre-show of the Golden Globe for NBC. Nancy O Dell was the consulting producer and the original host of “Nashville Star”, a search for the next best country music artist. For the past eight years, Nancy O’Dell has been hosting the Tournament of the Roses Parade coverage for NBC. She was also invited by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to host the lighting of the California’s state capital Christmas tree. Nancy O’Dell has been the host of the coverage of New York’s St. Patrick’s Day for NBC News. In 2004, she co-hosted Miss USA Pageant and Miss Universe in 2005.
